A little more
Love
1 min read 2026-09-12
Whenever I loved, I gave my all,
never thinking what may fall.
I stayed even when I felt alone,
still made their pain my own.
I waited for words that never came,
still I stayed, still I played the same game.
I kept quiet when things went wrong,
just to keep the bond strong.
But love is not always giving more,
not standing tired at someone’s door.
It should feel warm, it should feel right,
not like a never-ending fight.
So this time, I choose my peace,
from all this hurt, I slowly release.
I’ll still love, but not like before,
I’ll respect myself a little more.
And if love comes again one day,
I won’t lose myself on the way.
